back to blogging! =)

it's been a month since my last post! =) been really really busy that i only got the chance to go out thrice, i think, during the entire 4 weeks of silence...

week 1: to HK and back
HK was fantastic! despite the weird smells of the streets *heh* i enjoyed walking around... not that scared of having my wallet stolen! (i had this small pouch with a string attached to my pants... *wink*) the only sad thing about that is... snatchers there are actually not the locals... but some Filipinos who are staying there... =(

My hotel stay was great, too, primarily due to the fact that I could sleep until around 8:30! The HK Convention Center is just a 5-minute ferry ride away so there is definitely no rush, a total different lifestyle as I had here... now, I'm back to having to wake up 6:00 AM at the latest (that is, if I could still catch up with my niece and nephew... if not, then I'd either have to wait for the "next trip" or find my own cab to get to work *sob*) I've had plenty of sleep there... and lotsa load of news... Olympics 2012 will be held in London... London bombings... 8 Philippine cabinet members resign... makes u wanna stay there and never come back... and of course it all follows... peso devaluation and all... argh!

The food there was excellent! Had to finish up my big big mound of fried rice with raisins and beef fillet with mango sauce to get enough energy to walk around some more! Yeah, they have really huge servings... makes you wonder how the locals maintain their figures! Well, people there actually walk a lot... no need for gyms and working out whatsoever. (but I did see an FF there... probably intended for the foreigners?)

So what else? Mongkok, for me, was well a bit disappointing 'coz there aren't really much stuff there... you keep seeing the same products over and over again... Work was okay =) Though I spent 3 out of 5 days there most of the time...

Overall, it was a really great experience for me... Aside from the all my "first-times" there, it was also a good time for me to enjoy my sister's company... just the two of us... and (real) work is just so far away....

week 2-4: Back to normal
Reality bites /sob... gotta go back to the real world where I belong... catch up on my backlog... tutor tutor tutor!!! Nuthin much happened during this 3 weeks... Just work... and more work...
plans that weren't accomplished... (rappelling, going to Bicol [again], staying at grace overnight, etc. etc.) sigh... sad but things surely will get better =)

yup! watched the dolphin show twice :D nung unang show, super difficult makita kasi punong-puno ng tao ung place... (na-late kami kasi the person we asked where the escalator was lead us to the wrong direction... super layo ng nilakad namin /sob) kaya silip-silip lang ako sa gitna ng ulo ng mga tao! *lolz* buti na lang we still have time left to wait for the next show... as in sagad-sagad na ung tym nun, after that we had to head straight to the airport or we'll miss our flight back! =) we had to ride the airport express to arrive there on time! *lolz*
